Job Description:
This Pharmacy Technician role is within a remote contact center. We service client's Part D Members and Providers . Our goal is to handle Member and Provider inquiries concerning benefits and coverage determinations . Our timeframes are extremely tight (urgent 24 hours, standard 72 hours).
Work on the pharmacy help desk handling prior authorization requests from doctors’ offices.
Requests are received via fax, mail, email, phone, and electronic PA system.
Receive and respond to member questions about their pharmacy benefit.
Work from home – private and quiet workspace required.
Retail Pharmacy experience – at least 2 years
Good computer skills (Typing, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
Good fundamental knowledge of drug names and drug classes
Exceptional Customer Service
Detail Oriented
Ability to multi-task
Willingness to accept change
Good to have:
Call center experience
CMS knowledge
CPhT preferred, not required (Certified Pharmacy Tech licensed)
