Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work hybrid with our client in Bristol, CT . Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Work closely with the staff on the music cue sheet management process.
  • Involved with review, update, and approval of Music cue sheet reports, tracking, and organizing of submitted cue sheets for compliance reporting.
  • Work under the direction of the Music Licensing and Music Operations Supervisors to support the approval of music cue sheets submitted to the database and assist in cue sheet reporting to track compliance for all clients' networks.
  • Handle the update of music data to the cue sheet management system, as well as the distribution and handling of cue sheets to licensors.
  • Tracking of the client's programming on affiliate networks and submitting cue sheets to those networks or our Publishing Administrator.
  • Assist the Coordinating Director of Music, Sr. Music Licensing Coordinator, and Music Licensing Coordinator in the preparation, filing, coordination, and organization of music licenses and related music documentation.
  • Understand music rights.
  • Some music coursework.
  • The individual will be working on the Sound Mouse music cue sheet.
  • Reviewing episodes (video content) and logging the music content for each episode.

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with Soundmouse (music cue software).

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Prioritize projects based on time & resources available.
  • Demonstrated high organizational and communication skills and abilities needed.
  • Knowledge of both Mac and PC operating systems needed, including proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, or Office 365 applications.
  • Understanding related to broadcast, technical operations, library science, or music backgrounds.
  • Spanish proficiency.
  • Data entry, accuracy is important.
