Job Description

Technology Resource Experts, LLC is looking for experienced Systems Administrators to join their rapidly growing team!

The Systems Administrator (L2/L3) is responsible for the maintenance, support, and optimization of the company's IT infrastructure. This role involves resolving complex technical issues escalated from the Level 1 support team, performing root cause analysis, and implementing advanced system enhancements. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, a deep technical understanding of enterprise systems, and the ability to act as a subject matter expert for core infrastructure. 

Description:
  • Install, configure, and maintain server operating systems (e.g., Windows Server, Linux) in physical and virtual environments.
  • Manage user accounts, security permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure the availability, integrity, and security of all hardware, server resources, and key processes.
  • Administer core services, such as Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
  • Implement and manage system backup and recovery strategies to ensure data protection.
  • Develop and maintain scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) to automate repetitive tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Manage system patching and updates to maintain security and compliance. 
Qualifications
  • An active TS/SCI with MD polygraph is required. Last Poly within past 7 years.
  • Proven experience as an L2/L3 Systems Administrator in an enterprise environment.
  • Expert knowledge of enterprise operating systems, such as Windows Server and/or Linux.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts, including TCP/IP, DNS, and firewalls.
  • Experience with virtualization platforms like VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages for automation.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with team members and vendors.
  • Level 2:
    • BS + 10 years experience
  • Level 3:
    • BS + 15 years experience

The projected compensation range for this position is $150K - $225K. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
