Salesforce Quality Analyst Roles and Responsibilities: - Identify and fix software defects and improve the quality of the Salesforce application and services.
- Analyze and understand Salesforce system requirements and features
- Design and execute detailed test plans and scenarios for intended functionalities
- Identify, record, and document thoroughly any bugs or errors found during testing
- Perform manual testing of Salesforce application and services
- Execute automated testing using test automation tools and scripts
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise during testing
- Work closely with the development team to ensure that the software meets the defined quality standards
- Verify the fixes of resolved bugs and ensure they function correctly without any side effects
- Communicate regularly with the project team to provide updates on the quality status of the project
- Perform regression testing when changes are made to the Salesforce system
- Contribute to the improvement of testing procedures and strategies
Requirements - Develop and execute test plans to ensure that all objectives are met.
- Implement and monitor test scripts to assess functionality, reliability, performance, and quality of the Salesforce service or product.
- Identify and remedy defects within the production process.
- Collaborate with Salesforce development team to ensure consistent project execution.
- Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing.
- Identify any potential problems that users might encounter.
- Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Preferred Experience And Skills - Proven work experience as a Salesforce Quality Assurance Analyst or similar role
- Hands-on experience with Salesforce and other CRM software
- Experience in project management and QA methodology
- Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
- Working knowledge of test management software and SQL
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Strong organizational skills
- BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
