Referral and Insurance Coordinator

Location: Grand Blanc, MI

Full-time, Monday through Friday from 7 am to 4pm

$17-20/hr based on experience

Join a team committed to delivering exceptional endoscopy care in a professional and supportive environment. This state-of-the-art Endoscopy Center is seeking a Referral and Insurance Coordinator that is a vital role assisting the office and delivery a great patient experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced medical setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with referrals and insurance authorizations.
• Use scheduling software. Allscripts and EPIC knowledge a PLUS!
• Manage high call volumes while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Ensure all patient data is accurate and complete.
• Collaborate with clinical staff and physicians to streamline the patient experience.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a medical administrative role.
• Experience with insurance authorizations, referrals and patient communication.
• Excellent multi-tasking skills and ability to stay organized under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, upbeat attitude and professional demeanor.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and a team player that takes initiative.
• Must be able to pass a background check and provide proof of immunization status.
