We are looking for a responsible Quality Inspector to check the quality of all products on the press line. You will be a firm advocate of quality in our production. The ideal candidate will possess a trained eye for detail and will be reliable and committed. Knowledge and comprehension of quality is essential. The goal is to ensure that our products are made of flawless materials with well-functioning parts that meet our customers' high standards.

• Approve or reject the product with respect to quality standards and select output samples and check them using appropriate methods (measuring dimensions, comparing to specifications etc.)
• Use measuring tools such as pi tape, calipers, durometer, CMM machine and various gauges to ensure correct dimensions.
• Trim defective part to correct demensions.

• Maintain records of testing, information and various metrics such as number of defective products per day etc.
  Prepare and submit reports to the quality manager

• Proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Familiarity with quality measurement tools.

Skills/Experience

• 1 year of proven experience as quality inspector or relevant role
• A keen eye for detail and a results-driven approach
• Responsible and trustworthy
• Familiarity with quality measurement tools.
• Education – Highschool or equivalent
• Adhere to ISO 90001

Work Environment and Physical Demands

• Exposure to manufacturing environment preferred.
• No Temperature controls, the plant can be very hot or very cold as outside weather
• Wear protective safety equipment
• May be exposed to possible shop hazards including heaving machinery, fumes, dust, heat and high pressure and temperatures.
• Stooping, bending, walking and standing for the duration of work shift
• Comfortable standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Manual Dexterity
• Follow all safety guidelines to ensure personal and team safety.
