Job Title: PlannerJob Description As a Planner, you will collaborate closely with the manufacturing floor to develop and implement effective manufacturing processes. You will be responsible for creating production schedules to ensure timely delivery, while working directly with engineering teams, external vendors, shop floor staff, machining, assembly, and supervisors. Additionally, you will keep clients informed of progress, identify bottlenecks, and utilize Pentagon for planning purposes. Essential Skills + 5+ years of experience in planning for aerospace processes. + Technical experience in part manufacturing. + Ability to read and interpret technical documents, including blueprints and manuals. + Experience working with outside vendors for processes such as plating, grinding, and heat treat. + Proficiency in ERP systems like Pentagon or similar. + Experience in an AS9100 environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in manufacturing and machinery processes. + Strong technical drawing skills. + Knowledge of aerospace engineering. Work Environment You will have an office located just outside the machining center, overseeing five dedicated manufacturing floor staff. The role entails working in a clean shop environment, with 50% of your time spent on the floor alongside machinists. Collaboration with engineering, quality teams, and leadership is expected. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday from 7 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 7 AM to 11 AM. The position offers opportunities for growth, including managing more planners and floor staff in the future. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $43.26/hr.
