About the Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Part-Time Math Teacher to join our team and work with lower elementary students, from preschool to kindergarten. As a teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and age-appropriate math lessons, utilizing various teaching techniques to help students understand math concepts and develop problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach virtual mathematics lessons to lower elementary students through our interactive online platform.
Manage and engage an online classroom of up to 18 students, ensuring a positive learning environment.
Prepare and deliver lessons aligned with our curriculum and teaching guidelines.
Grade assignments, provide personalized feedback, and maintain communication with students and their parents.
Dedicate 20-30 hours per week to teaching, primarily during weekends or weekday afternoons.

What We're Looking For:

A Bachelor's degree (or working toward one). While education or STEM-related majors are preferred, all backgrounds are welcome!
No prior math teaching experience required, though it's a plus.
Experience in elementary math competitions or teaching them is an advantage.
Availability to commit to training and at least two semesters (Spring and Fall).
A genuine passion for teaching, education, and working with young children.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with students and parents.

Compensation:

Teaching Fee: $33/hour for classroom teaching (3-7 classes per week).
Non-Teaching Fee: $16-20/hour for prep work, grading, and after-class services.
Student Retention Bonus: Up to 15% of your total teaching fee for long-term classes.
