Construction Laborer to join our team. and jump in to support our network build out and begin an exciting career in the fiber industry.
We’re looking for top-tier talent and will equip you with the tools,and training you need to thrive and make a lasting impact.
Essential Functions - Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Operate a hydro-vac for potholing and site cleanup.
- Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer
- Perform basic construction tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities Required - Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.
- Good communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- CDL-A license preferred but not required
- Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer
Other Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in directional drilling/underground construction is preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel out of state when required.
- Ability to be on call
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. This posiistion pays an hourly rate of $18.00 - $23.00 depending on experience. The hourly pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Expectations - Schedule/hours: 6:30 - 5pm
- Travel: 50%
- Work environment: Outside. Hot, cold, rain, snow
- Physical demands: Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to scoop, bend, and lift up to 75lbs.
