Duties/Responsibilities:
▪ Adequate and efficient installation of household appliances; furniture assembly. ▪ Good customer service and communication skills; acts in a professional manner with customers. ▪ Able to drive and operate 26ft Box Truck, understanding of GPS and digital map system. ▪ Proper use of delivery equipment and tools. ▪ Responsible for unloading and loading truck; cleanliness of truck. ▪ Maintain accurate record of miles driven, delivery status and customer concerns. ▪ Work year round
Qualifications:
▪ DOT certified driver license preferred or ability to pass certification; need DOT card to be a driver. ▪ Clean background and driving record preferred. ▪ Reliable transportation to and from work site. ▪ Experience in route driving a plus. ▪ Ability to lift to 100lbs with equipment/person assistance. ▪ Must be a team player.
Hours of Position:
Monday-Saturday (most routes are 5 days); 615a-6p (this will vary based on assigned routes, efficiency of team.) No holidays
Salary: Based on experience and position, base pay starts at $700 per week. You will be an independent contractor so you will be responsible for paying your own taxes. There will be attendance, customer satisfaction incentives in addition to base pay.
