Job Description

As an Assoicate Community & Social Impact Specialist with American Family Insurance you will support the team by maintaining list, grant requests, premilitary partnerships to help advance our corporate community and social impact vision, including internal programs, charitable giving, strategic sponsorships, and social impact investing. Serve as a liaison with external community and social impact organizations and internal partners to ensure community and social impact activities are authentically reflected both within and outside of the organization.

You will report to the Senior Manager, Community & Social Impact.

Position Compensation Range:

$52,000.00 - $75,000.00

Primary Accountabilities

  • Work with team on deployment of daily operations of the organization's community and social impact programs.

  • Assist with and manage administrative functions and customer support for the charitable and philanthropic work, and programmatic work.

  • Serves as point of contact with internal and external working groups, and committees associated with programmatic plans, and outside vendors to ensure programs offered function and support the advancement of the strategy.

  • Participate in completion and communication of program metrics and reporting.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience providing customer-driven solutions, support, or service.

  • Demonstrated experience with project planning assistance and coordination.

  • Demonstrated experience with launching/overseeing programmatic based initiatives. - Demonstrated experience in working with community focused/charitable organizations.

  • Demonstrated experience with philanthropic and business assistive software and interfacing with general information technology principles and security standards.

  • Demonstrated analytical, communication and presentation skills.

  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

In this hybrid role you are expected to work a minimum of 10 days per month out of the Madison, WI location.
